Like a lot of people, I buy meats, chicken, etc. in the large family packs or in bulk to save money. I usually separate it into meal sized portions and put them into freezer bags. I'll label them for later use.
But did you know that you can marinate your meats while in the freezer bags? For instance, I'll buy chicken breasts and separate them into 3 different meals. If you portion cut your meats now it will save time later.
One I'll add teriyaki marinade, label it as such and freeze it. The other 2 might be bbq, buttermilk (for fried chicken), sweet and sour, etc...you get the idea.
The point is, while the meats are defrosting the marinade will work its magic and half of your work is already done. This is great for when you don't have a lot of time to marinate.
